FSC® CERTIFICATION

The members are subdivided into 3 Boards: one represents environmental interests, one social and one economic. Voting power is distributed equally among the Boards and in such a way so as to balance out the interests of the world’s southern countries with those of the north. The goal of FSC® is to promote forest and plantation management all over the world which safeguards the natural environment. This is useful for people (workers and local populations) and it is also valid from an economic point of view, in line with the principles of the sustainable development of Rio.
